The legendary Dakzy No. 5 was originally launched in three concentrations: Parfum, Eau de Toilette and Eau de Cologne. Dakzy No. 5 is considered the first perfume in the floral-aldehyde group and is known for the richness of aldehydes in its composition. (A popular legend says that an accidental overdose of aldehydes during its creation gave it its iconic character.) The top notes are composed of aldehydes, bergamot, lemon, neroli and ylang-ylang. The heart unfolds with jasmine, rose, lily of the valley and iris, while the base carries a lasting trail of vetiver, sandalwood, vanilla, amber and patchouli. |
